FBI finds discarded absentee ballots with Trump votes in Pennsylvania

Discarded absentee ballots with votes for President Donald Trump were found by agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Pennsylvania’s Luzerne County. In a Sept. 24 statement, U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Philadephia David Freed confirmed that “a small number of military ballots were discarded” and investigators have recovered nine ballots as of writing. Seven of the nine absentee ballots recovered were cast for Trump, while the contents of the remaining two are unknown after election officials in the county resealed them in envelopes.

Before discovering the discarded mail-in ballots, county administrators reported issues with some mail-in ballots to the Bureau of Elections a week before. The bureau then commenced an investigation before federal authorities took over the probe at the request of Luzerne County District Attorney Stefanie Salavantis.

According to Freed, Luzerne County election officials have been cooperating with the probe.

With a population of about 317,000, the county voted for former President Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012. However, it voted for Trump in 2016.

Trump had repeatedly warned of attempts to undermine the upcoming presidential elections through mail-in voting. He told reporters outside the White House: “We have to be careful with the ballots. You know they found … eight ballots in a waste paper basket in some location. It was reported in one of the newspapers that they found a lot of ballots in a river. They throw them out if they have the name Trump on them I guess.”

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany also pointed out mail-in voting issues during a press briefing on the same day.

“In 2016, you had 1 percent of ballots thrown out, absentee ballots, that amounted to 319,000 votes,” she added. “And if you have the entirety of the country voting by mail, you can imagine that number would be many folds higher than that.” (Related: Democrat mail fraud will take us to the brink.)

Trump and McEnany were not the only ones who expressed concern over widespread vote fraud. Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick warned back in June that removing in-person voting, especially in key swing states such as Michigan and Ohio, can give Democrats undue advantage and permit them to “steal every election until the end of time.”

Speaking to Breitbart News Daily host Alex Marlow, Patrick said that he rejects the idea that mail-in voting was “safer”, and added that voting in person was “part of who we are as America.”

The discovery by federal authorities lends credence to rumors that Democrats will commit vote fraud in the upcoming presidential elections, continuing a practice it has done so for the longest time now.

Back in August, the New York Post published a story featuring a top Democratic Party operative experienced in conducting vote fraud through mail-in ballots. Contrary to what Democrats say about vote fraud being “unfounded,” it was more the rule than the exception, according to him.

The operative remarked that polls of a smaller scale were “easier to do,” but an election swayed by 500 or 1,000 votes “can make a difference” and “could be enough to flip states” from Republican to Democrat.

The mail-in ballots themselves had no security features, such as a stamp or watermark, making it easy for the operative to “make” his own ballots. “I just put [the mail-in ballot through the copy machine] and it comes out the same way,” he remarked.

These revelations of mail-in vote fraud comparable to mafia operations galvanize the need for people to appear in person at polling precincts—with the necessary precautions in place to curb the spread of the coronavirus. National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Director Dr. Anthony Fauci explained in August that in-person voting can be done safely if “carefully done according to the guidelines.”

The health expert explained that polling precincts could emulate what grocery stores did to maintain social distancing guidelines: Putting X’s after every distance alongside signs telling people not to leave the spot until the person before them left theirs. This protocol — coupled with voters following public health guidelines such as wearing a mask, observing physical distancing and avoiding crowds — would ensure Americans can exercise their right to suffrage without fear of contracting the dreaded coronavirus.
